currently its one of the most dead professions ever..alongside tailor i think..maybe even more..
why not make houses once u destroy them...destroyed? it can open up a market for them... i cant speak for harvesters because crafters are getting attached to them but houses...if u move...might as well buy new ones.. what's 40to 60k to spare for a medium when u can make 20 mil of a single AA or CA...
im not a crafter so this is a bit outta the blue but it would certainly help id think

As much as I enjoy making money, I think making houses 1 time use would really piss a lot of people off. Thanks for the suppor though! I make a good amount though on extractors, and furniture. Even though extractors never seem to decay, people always need them. Either new players, or old ones looking to expand. Furniture is something everyone is looking for though. It's like my house. My wife redecorates a room every year! Next item I'm going to work on heavily are the city gardens, and structures though. I keep seeing a slight increase in the need for those.

so youd be okay if all the weapons all weaponsmiths would make wouldnt have a condition to deter from and u can have always no matter what... it would drive WS profession off a cliff. same with armor...
architects dont get anything close to what ws and as get... same with tailor... they have no income because everything they do lasts forever..
but yea..house paint kits would be cool

This is definitely a good idea to implement.
On a side note..I'd have to say Image Designer is a bit more dead than Architect though.

Paint kits would be great for housing! It would also be nice to be able to color furiture. This would give customers more options when browsing the vendors.

I think it would be better to have a new "Moon" around every planet.
Headlines "New Moon discovered", add 1 every so often till all the planets have one.
Currently problems:
1: out of room to build new cities.
2: buildings no longer getting destroyed.
What would you do if:
a: Weapons no longer had condition?
b: Clothing no longer had condition?
c: Armor no longer had condition?
Current status of architect is almost useless.

well in the "real" world.....
Armor doesn't decay unless it takes a battle-axe thru the chest plate, and even then it can be patched.
Weapons don't decay. Swords can be resharpened. (unless broken), guns can be cleaned parts replaced...
clothes can decay from simple washing, but you can remove buttons, or patches (skill tapes) that you've sewn onto a jacket and out them on a new one.
Houses, you can add siding, paint, do some light landscaping....
What they need to do is liven things up. Instead of just a "house"....architects should be able to come along behind the player, and "flavor" to the outside. Be able to put a plant or even a flowerbed outside the house. This SHOULD NOT count against the houses's inventory count. Rather the house should have customization slots based on the size of the house. (smalls would get say 5, med 7, large 9, PA 10.) Once the customizations are done, they're permenant until the structure is moved.) Paint, siding, brick customization would NOT count against the customization count because those would be treated like paint kits for ships, droids, swoops, etc....
You could also do something similar with ID's. Only for the INSIDE of the house. (You'd probably have to increase the customization size for the inside, simply because there's more surface area indoors). Those customizations would allow an ID to place items and attach them to the structure object for decoration and would NOT count against the inventory count. They could only be moved by an ID, unless the house was to be moved and then those items would re-appear in the player's inventory.

I agree. Give us ways to sell customization to the customer.

If they put in the ability to take maintance out of houses then I wouldnt care if they put in that you could not redeed them. Until they put in the removable maintance making houses 1x drop would hurt people who pay maint for 1 year and end up moving the house. I am an architect and I focus on selling furniture because its the one thing that people always want or need.. I also think that a mayor should have the ability to remove more than 50k credits a week from the city hall but thats my opinion.
