I keep hearing a rumor that on TC, they're taking away multiple admins on a house...
now while I'm assuming this is to prevent people from having their stuff stolen by unscrupulous characters...
how can you try to promote "group play" on one hand, and then take it away on the other??
this just does NOT make sense... there are REASONS I have access to other people's houses, namely my business partners, and my RL friends, who help and drop off stuff at my house that they want sold.
If this patch goes live, those that have multiple accounts to manage all that they want to do will also be left out in the cold, as transferring between characters will be nigh-impossible.
please reconsider this!

Look up facts before you believe in rumors.
It is a bug. The concept was to get rid of lot swaping between servers, but it's affected buildings as well. It's not going live.

The devs would be dumb to do this since a lot of the crafters rely on lot swapping to get their resources quicker

I think it's a good idea. If they did this, it would push crafters to rent out lots from other players on your server. This would increase the economy. I have 2 crafters, and a doc, and I get all my resources myself or contract out to others to get them for me. I don't lot swap.
Now that you mentioned this, going to start a new thread to see what everyone else's opinion is.

Cross server lot trades do not promote group play or the player economy. They are detrimental in allowing some to be able to collect all there own resource, craft their product, and then distribute their product. This keeps players from relying on one another.
I can live with having no admin on any other properties. This would mean that in the case of malls though that it might hurt them as currently you have to be on admin to place a vendor. Not sure how they would work that.

hhhhhhmmmmm The Big Bad Lot Swappers........ sounds like a bad B movie.... get real.... I am new but have 3 accounts, my buddy does too... we are here to have fun.... We both make a ton of money (in the real world) I dont give a damn about the 14.95 a month... I spend 3 times that on lunch every day....
I will always LOT SWAP... between my ALTS, between my FRIENDS, between my GUILDMATES, and any other sucker I can think of........... I WILL GET PAID SO I CAN PLAY AND HAVE FUN...

if they take away admin as it are today, it will be highly difficult for me with multiply account to actually play the game as i do like. because i have to log evry alt to add maint and power.. i only use my merchant for that atm. since he gets the 20% discount
for the lot swaps. yes i use them. do we realy need them. both yes and no. if we dont use them. there must come hundred more miners on my server to keep up with all the resource usage as it are today..
but then again i wont go and discuss lot swaps here.

Oh wonderful. Lets kill lot swapping. Well I got news for you, I am not in a guild, and I had my vendors "offering to buy, rent, or lease" lots constantly. In six weeks, I have gotten ONE inquiry. So I started swapping with other servers.
This will ensure that architects in particular will have to be guild affiliated or die. It just takes too many resources for us to operate.

I have 7 characters on Flurry, 8 on Eclipse, and I work with players in my guild totaling another 5 accounts where we work together to get the lots needed for my characters, and theirs.
Taking out multiple admins would be a nightmare for many players like myself who dont use cross-server lot swaps but have multiple accounts. Im glad they are not doing it.

As was said in the second post to this thread, this is a /bug and is not working as intented and will not go live.
No need to worry about the sky falling.
