Thread: Dont understand hwo to make an admin in my house...

I try to add a person to the admin list on my house, and it says they were added.... but then they are unable to do anything like pick up or drop off items. I check the list, and lo!- they are nto on the admin list. what am I doing wrong here? The same thing is happening on my YT 1300.

Even tho it says you can ... i've never been able to add admin on my ships.
For the house .. after you bring up the admin list, you are hitting add then typing their name and hitting okay right?
That should work. I've been adding people to admin recently and it's been working fine.

Well my friend used to be able to make me an admin on his Decimator so I could look in the lootbox and get any good stuff I needed, but lately neither of us have been able to do so.

Maybe it was just lag...
Helping a new person move into the city today. As usual, I placed the house for him, then did a /transferstructure. He then went to add his alt char to admin. He got the text box to add the name, but did not get the confirmation message. When he tried to access the terminal again, the radial only showed examine, as if he didn't own the house. So I tried it too. Same thing. Examine only.
I suggested maybe it was like the city hall terminal bug. So we waited a minute or so. Tried again. Still no option for admin.
He transferred the house back to me. I was then able to get the admin option on the radial. I added him to admin. No confirmation message. I re-opened the admin window (it happened to work first try this time) but then saw the admin list showed *no one* on admin. Not even me, the owner. It was a blank box. I tried several times. It stayed blank. Since I had added him, even though it didn't show I had, he also tried to add his alt. He could not access the menu.
I redeeded the house. I traded it back to him. I granted him zoning rights. He placed it. He was able to access the radial and add his alt to admin.
Maybe it was just lag...
I'm going to test it some more tonight. The City Council and I are going on a little building spree....
