Great Idea... email me (Irulyn) in Sunrunner,and lets brain storm this. I am trying to start a city and this would be a great marketing option.

Hmm...I thought about doing this about 2-3 weeks ago. Havent had the time to get all the resources together to start doing real estate sales. I figured this should help the fact that my house sales are kinda slow.

Note: You cant transfer a house with a vendor in it.
To transfer a house target the house's control pad (I think that's what it's called) and type:
/transfers playername
/transfers is short for /transferstructure
Note: the target player needs to be in the area and have the need free slots to accept the house.
This also works for harvesters and factories. To transfer a merchant tent, the target person must have the skill to place the tent in the first place.

Not a complete solution, but you could sell "Furniture/House Packages". Place the deed and a load of furniture into a backpack and sell it all together. You could sell different size packages, from Small to Large, with furniture from cheap to expensive, maybe throw in a few nice pictures, etc.
The only drawback is that you can't pre-decorate.
Personally, next to Space Combat, I've had the most fun assembling my houses. I'm up to 3 now... A large and small on Tat, and a medium on Naboo that serves as my unofficial Imperial Squadron HQ. Really just a spot to gather Imp pilots to group up for some of the tougher missions.
The only drawback is that you can't pre-decorate.
