Hey all,

Just thought this up while reading some threads in this forum...

How about changing the way we move furniture. How about making it so you right click the furniture in your inventory - click 'Drop' - Then it will take you to an interface quite like when placinga building. So you get a over-view of your house and you place the items like that. You would be able to change the angle with your right mouse button as with buildings and place them with left click, also like with buildings

What do ya think?

Thanks,

well, it doesnt allow for fine tuning your placement, and what about vertical position?

plus......switching to that top down view all the time would be annoying

you wont be looking at the house in top view, so why would you decorate in in top view?

not being mean, just my opinion

thats the same style used in EQ2...you select the item in your inventory, click "Place", and from a first person point of view, it lets you place the furniture. item, etc, wherever you need to...the only problem with it, is you can only place on the floor, walls, and ceiling...nothing in the open space in the middle...

i say keep it how it is....

yep i like it the way it is, it would be too annoying to do all that stuff with the top down view and all

if you just make some macros for moving furniture its really fast and you can get better detail in
