often ive tried to make a pack named "Fireplace" with all the items to make one, then get pissed when i couldnt because "This item is too bulky to fit into this container"
IDEA: containers with a volume of 1 (meaning empty) can be stored inside of other containers......you could not use this to "nest" containers because once you put 50 items into one container, you cant put the full container into another one, because the volume of it would be 51

Make factory crates of your container furniture so you don't get that problem.

Yes that is what seems to work. Now heres one for ya, not sure how many people have thought of or used this but I came up with it on my own. Premade furniture items such as fireplaces, aquariums, pool tables etc... the list goes on. Take all items needed and place them into a pack after a dry run of building the prototype. Create a macro while doing the dry run and that macro can be emailed to whoever would like to buy your pack containing the items needed. The customer can now copy and paste the macro and then follow the instructions about the item. Say for a simple fireplace, the customer would drop all items from the pack including a chair to sit in and then hit the macro. The macro would build said item for them while they wait and then they can place it where ever they want or move it if needed and rebuild with the macro. Works great for chandeliers that need lighting replaced every so often.

so for selling packs to make a fireplace, simply split the crates up so they have a quantity of 1? therefore they still fit in a pack but only hold 1 item......
i think this is what you were implying the whole time, but i was really tired when i read this post the first time
