Thread: NEED MORE PLAYER CITY SPACE!

It's been a little annoying, my favorite planet, Tatooine has been full of player cities for the last few months. I really want to set up a city there and I think the limit should be increased a little, or at least as the server population grows. This is just my little thought and I wondered if anyone else thought the same. Thanks!

player citys are hard work bud. first off you need a min of 10 citizens.
second you need the money to fund it. can't tax citizens untill your city becomes a village.
lasty everyone wants to own a city its an ideal goal in life but tbh heres a tip join a city and run for mayor. then win votes but getting new citizens in to that city.
however most player citys are never where they should be and tend to be real close to eachouther or near the 4 main citys.
if you want a sucsessfull city you need to start off with a min of around 50 players and this isn't easy.
im currently on the verge of loseing my 20th citizen so im working hard on trying to keep and gain more settlers by premoting the city.
tbh i wanna get a shuttle port in an area most people go.

its all in the recruiting set up a macro to entice people to join, talk about the perks, say u need crafters and u will pay for them to grind. thats what we did,
heck we have 90 citizens and members for guild in one month

Alright, thanks for the information. This post was more along the lines of the "limit" the game has on player cities but I do appreciate all the helpful advice, thanks. We do have a bunch of people ready to start a city, the only restriction is the preset limit on player cities. It's not a big problem, I just wanted to put my thoughts out there. Thanks again.

Ok, I hope this won't dampening your spirit but think about how the game would work if you get what you want. They raise the limit by one to accommodate you. Another player comes along, asks the exact same thing. And gets it. Limits are usually there for a reason, sometimes bad, sometimes good, and sometimes because of other limits, like strain on servers.
Don't let it stop you though, maybe if others want it too, and it's possible, limits may someday be changed in the game. You just have to back it up a little more I think.

I get what you're saying. There are some of us that believe the planets should be larger then they are, but RL data space can only do so much? (and it would give us more space for content and exploration)

I jsut posted my info on the condeming vrs full purge...
we need to see a full purge of all lots from inactive accounts to make room for all the new players and those who are here for long haul. I have several cities on each planet right now that are pretty defunt ghost towns... its not fair or right for the new players to be forced to figure out where to go or have no opportunities to be part of a flourishing and successfull community... but by NOT purging the systems of inactive accounts and therefore their lots as well, we will continue to run out of space and have to deal with derelec towns / cities. We need change =)

Yeah, thanks. I wasn't suggesting that they give only me space, I was just thinking sometime they should exapand each planet as part of a major update, like once every two years. That's all.
