Thread: Some Ideas for city advancment (not to much detail here I know)

  • Would like to see a Quest based system for the Mayor of a City. This would be to allow them to go either for the Empire or The Rebellion and would allow for the City to be apart of the GCW in more ways.

    • This would also mean allowing the Cities to be taken over by Rival Politicians and even have the ability to start wars with other cities but only if the city is of opposit faction and also agrees to the war.
    • Also would like to see players have the option to make their city neutral or be given the ability to make the city a smugglers haven.

  • Also The ability for the Mayor to make the City overt and when the City is overt it would allow for Recruters from the Faction it belongs to to be placed in the city by the Mayor
  • Also alow for the Mayor to place walls around the city. These wall segments would have to be made by an Arcutect and be placed by some one who is a Master Politician. Make it where there must be an opening put in the city first as to keep from players who are Master Politican on the opposit side from completely blocking the city off and Killing the Spaceport so no one can get to thier houses.
  • Would also like to see the ability for a City to have Jails. These would be to Bane people from the city and not to put them behind the bars themselves, where by making the game unfun. Now the Jail could also be utilised in quests for BH as well where they could turn in a suspect depending upon what faction they are in and if the suspect is non-violent or Violent.


      • Also this would allow for interaction with Smuggler because they could possiblyslice into the Jail to remove names from the Jails list. however this would cost alot for the Smuggler to do. and would possibly take a loot Item to Hack into a Jail, so it would keep the Jail from being Sliced, and the Same Smuggler could not Slice the Jail they Sliced again for atleast for a one month period.
      • also you could make jails that detain people but everyone would be able to bribe the Guards in the jail so you wouldn't stay long but everytime you go back to the same Jail the Bribe costs more and more.
      • If you are, say a smuggler or BH, you could lockpick your way out of the Jails. If you get caught though you will have to fight the prison Guard. These Guard would give no EXP and the player who Escaped would get a Badge for escaping.

  • Also I would like to see the ability to place streets which could bring Arcutects into play as well and give them content. Again only the Mayor would be able to place the streets. These streets could come in diffrent flavors so that the Mayor could make one part of Town Trashy and the other part of town with a little more Ritz. This would be for RP effect of course.
  • I also think Stables would be nice where CH's could put up their mounts for sale. This would allow them to sale their pets for a set price like the NPC city Bazzars, yet not allow them to store the pets by setting a price of 99999999. This structure would be placed by the Mayor and would allow again more content for the Arcutect.
  • Another thing that would be neat is City flags. We could couse from premade emblems and borders. and this would allow for looted symbols from maybe old Battlefeilds where you could find on a relic a Flag that could have a symbol that could be added to ones list of symbols. This would be for Arcutects also because it is city decor.

    • This would also be good so that people could hang flags infront of their houses.

  • Would like to see things like Temples for TK that could be added to the citys and add some flavor to the game.
  • Also Squad Leaders would be able to place bases for the Mayor in their City which would bea place where you could sign up for the City Milita.
