Hi there,
i have a question. In my new house it happened to me that i was attacked in my house while crafting in my room or while standing in cellar. Is it normal that creatures (no creatures owned by players) can enter a structure? We have some huurtons or lizards some times around the house but since gcw publish (or around this pub date.. not exactly sure)they start entering the house. and not always through the entrance. This funny beasts can walk trough walls as it seems. A lizard bite me while i was in cellar and my friend saw it on first floor.
I am not sure if that is intended because it didnt happen to my before. I allready asked a CSR about that but you know.. a CSR told me that i can put a Tatooine House on Naboo and other funny things so i dont give a Penny on CSR answers anymmore.Thats why i ask here. And if its a bug perhaps some Player known to TC can report if this Issue is known or not.
Thanks in advance
(I hope its the right board here)

It is NOT normal but I think it is kind of a glitch. I got attacked by a Corellian Butterfly Dronein my house, but it was a butterfly so I was able to kill it so I didn't care. But as I said it is NOT normal and I think it is just one of the many glitches in the game.

Stormies are a other story hehe
We have a shop house near Theed. They come in through the one wall and exit trhrough another wall.... so i think that this is not intended to work like this. Sometimes we had 10 Stormies standing in our Shop Room and then suddenly when moving on warping through walls out. (pls give me the wall warp skill too)
But its really annoying to be slain in house from a huurtonwhile crafting
Thanks for your answers

Happened to me once on Lowca.
I ran into my friend's house to get away from a huurton pup and danged if it didn't follow me in, growing and biting all the way.
He was quickly dispatched to NPC heaven. Felt kinda bad about it though. He was kinda cute, if a bit on the belligerent side.
(had to have been a one time glitch. Never happened again.)

It does seem that NPC's and Mobs pretty much ignore player placed structures, and alot of time in-game structures (ie fort tusken) - that is something I would like to see fixed, its like they existed half in and half out of the world
i had a voriator lizzzy follow me into a small house i had on Dant once, this was just my merchant-non-combatant toon, incapped me and when i woke up he just sat there the rest of the time and never bothered me again while i worked on my vendors

Its a bug. As some things enter the house and hurt you only to be teleported out soon after.

I believe they can attack you in a house if they follow you inside. When ever i do some squill hunting with a group one guy always runs and goes inside a house, well a squill went inside and he was yelling that it was a bug because it attacked him inside the house. I dont this is a bug but hey i could be mistaken, i think they allow npc to go inside houses if they follow you in, if they attack you inside like under the floor and you see a gun following you along that floor attacking you then thats a bug.

I keep having shaupauts spawning on the balcony of my large naboo house.
I'm sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sun and suddenly I'm face to face with a shaupaut. And it attacks me!On MY balcony.. some nerve.. /shake

if i enter a house the attack sound does stop imediatly....(most of the time)isnt that a sign that the attacks should not work in the house...
just a thought

I walked into my house to do some crafting. I opened the door to the back room of my small tat house and imagine my surprise when I stood face to face with a stormie! I kinda jumped in my chair; My toon is imperial so it wasn't a problem, but I totally did not expect that. For about a week afterwards stormies would just walk in and hang out with me, but never talked to me.. they're stuck up that way.
It has cleared up now, expecpt that I did see a totem pole of stormie close to my shop the other day. They were standing around, but one on top of the other to form a long vertical line. I should have stopped to take a picture!

As far as I know (and I've played since beta) creatures and NPCs have always been able to follow you inside your house. And attack you there. I have been killed a few times while crafting in my workshop or stocking my vendors.
If you do not have any vendors in your house, lock the door. Make the house private. Then the creatures cannot get in. If you do have vendors inside and the house must remain public, put a 1 credit access fee on the door. Creatures and NPCs cannot pay it to get inside.
I was once trapped inside my small workshop on Naboo for over an hour. This was back before there were any vehicles. There were no player cities where you could live and work in relative safety. My only pet was a krevol and I didn't have any combat skills at all. Just a poor artisan working her way towards being a tailor.
I was crafting, when I suddenly heard horrible growling noises. I shivered. I turned around and used the radar and targeted the red blips that had suddenly appeared.4 Tusk cats were prowling just outside my door.
I ran to the terminal and locked the door so they could not come in. But they had sensed me by then and I saw the blips outside pacing just on the other side of the walls. I ran to the back of the house. The red blips followed me, skirting along the walls, but staying with me. I could hear them growling out there. Curious, I tested their ability to track me while I was inside. I ran, walked and crawled prone to several different areas of the house. Those 4 Tusk Cats stayed right on my scent. They followed every move I made. It was unnerving to say the least.
After an hour of sitting trapped inside (no chance of survival if one of them caught me) and unwilling to log out and wait for the next day for them to despawn, I decided to try to escape. I was in my workshop. I needed to take the items I had just made and stock them on my vendor. My residence and store were just up the hill 300 meters away. Home was my goal.
I teased the Tusk cats to the farthest back corner of my workshop. Once they were all clustered there against the wall, I spun around and hit burst run for the door. Fleeing out the door and heading up the hill, I could hear them roaring in anger. They began to chase. I kept running.
One caught up to me just as I got to the door. He struck me and in that one hit, I was close to death. I crossed the threshold. BAM! The access fee I had on my shop stopped the cat in his tracks. I was safe! I stood on the other side of the locked door and listened to him and his brethren howl for a few minutes. Smiled. And stocked my vendor while they growled in frustration.
Lock your doors. It's dangerous out there.
