Over the course of the past couple of weeks I've been thinking (like many people) of my "wish list", sparked off by a post from the Devs on how to breathe life into the towns and cities (non player) in SWG. So, I thought I'd post them here and see what you all think
1. Players Cities - The city militia should be able to move static objects (Gardens, Fountains, Statues etc)
2. It would be cool if we could level land in our player cities. Not to any great extent, but the same way a camp does when you place it. It flattens the land, then returns it to its previous state when the camp is lifted. We are bound by the lay of the land in our town and although we have picked a relatively flat area, there are still annoying patches we can't build on. If this was possible, it would may player cities more realistic, defined streets, without rocks and ditches in them!!
3. I did toy with the idea of NPC's in player cities. On reachinga certain level you could have NPC's in your cantina, your medical center. Thoughts?
4. Non Player Cities -
- Breathe life into them. Think of the opening shots of Star Wars, when Luke and Ben ride into Mos Eisley (remastered edition). There are Jawa's tending animals, small flying droids going about, people walking around. I realise these things exist already, but in such minimal detail, some towns look like ghost towns. Background noise too, chatter of people.
- Allow some people to buy property in the major towns
- Allow players (i.e Master Merchants) the ability to place a limited number of vendors in a major town.
I think these things would help to makethe game a more believable experience for all. Thank you

1. Is convenient, but not really a way to breathe life in the game
2. The land leveling ability is something mayors have been asking since there was a politician class
3. NPCs in cities is another politician idea.
4. Player housing/vendors in NPC towns has been brought up in the Architect, Merchant and City and Housing forums
Still they're good suggestions. Don't think they would breathe life in the game. It'd be more of a benefit for current players. I think a great use for JTL and the GCW immersion would breathe some life into the game. As it is, it's mostly window dressing wrapped in a flight sim.
