Greetings!

It seems that the hottest topic on this and the Politician board is that of dead houses, and those created by deleted characters.

Can anyone give us some indication when there is going to be the promised character purge so that houses owned by deleted characters disappear?

My bet is after CURB and Rage of the Wookies is released. They want to draw back as many old players as they can and wiping out all their stuff isn't that much of an insentive.

If there ever was a character purge, half if not more of the cities will go down to rank 2-3. Then cities will be built up to rank 4-5 and become ghost cities within months and you'll have the same problem over again. Except this time it probably wont be as big since the population has dropped significantly.

Devs are anticipating attracting people who used to play, as long as there is hope (people incidently have come back, attracted by SOE's offers), they'll continue not to do these player wipes (4 missed).

Aaergh!

I realy hope they could start kickin some ppl soon...i am starting to have a real problem in my town...

New and old players in my guild wanna place houses in me town but thers no room..and when ppl go poof they always leave their houses...is kinda irrititating.

I would like to see this happen.

Hey I quit in October '03 and when Veteran Rewards came out I came back within a week of the news. Many other people have been returning also every day.

As long as there are enough people returning like him, they'll never do a player purge.
