Hey!
I must say I was really disappointed last night.As it is now there can only be 10 cities at rank 4 on a planet. Our city is large, and has advanced fast. We are also active, and not a ghost town. Last night I was about to place a shuttle, since we reached the right amount of citizens, over 55 (we have 60). There are only 9 shuttleports at the time being but since the amount of rank 4 cities were full, I couldn't place the shuttle. Now there is a rank 4 city that isn't using the full potential of a rank 4 city, and they block anyone else from doing that.
I think it's wrong that you can become a rank 4 city without using it's full potential. If you choose to not place a shuttle, you shouldn't go up to rank 4, you kind of "destroy things" for others. I also think that the money being taken from the bankaccount to pay the maintinance for your home is all wrong. If you aren't that active that you can go and pay for your house, then why be in a city at all? Is it fair that people that aren't active, that a city that's more or less a ghost-town should block for cities that really are active and wants to advance?
I also think that the limit of 10 rank 4 cities is too low. 15, maybe 20 should be more significant. I mean, if you wasn't here when the game started, how should one be able to grow and prosper? You don't stand a chance. You have made it impossible to advance = you make it no fun for the ones that work really hard to get to the top.
I hear so many people say that player cities are dead, and that is no fun. When they have come to our city, they think it's more alive. And we do need to make player cities more alive...
To this I want to add that I think it's wrong that the limit of shuttles is set to 10 as well. It should be the same here, 15 maybe 20 ona planet. It should be easy to go to a city...As it is now, everyone wants to be as close to a none-player city (Theed, Coronet...etc) as they can,since going 4km by bike isn't that fun. We have built our city more then 4km from Theed, so we have to use the closest city's shuttleportto get to ours, we really want our own!
Help me out here, where is the logic for this?
I don't mean to sound negative or harsh, but this isn't thought through...please reconcider it!
