This isnt actually my idea, but in my guild, the leader wants to make a wall of medium houses around the city. So thats going to be a lot of houses, and guess what.... im the poor architect that has to make them all LMAO! would this even work though? Our city isnt even on flat land and there are tons of houses that are abandoned frompeople leaving the game. Would it be possible to move the entire city to another planet like naboo, or corellia or talus or something? How many houses would it even take to make that many?

The reason why was because imperials destroyed our turrets a lot... would we get in trouble if we actually did this?

I don't think you would get in trouble but alot of people might stop going to your city. I've seen cities like this on my server and I hate em, and I know alot of people who feel the same way.

If you do not leave at least one opening for people to go through, then yes, you will get in trouble.

I remember a couple of months ago there was a big debate about whether or not doing this was an exploit. I think the end result was you had to have at least one opening to get in and out of the city on the ground. As far as how many houses, all I can say is it would take a lot more than I'd be wanting to craft.

Theres a shuttleport though, so people who arent citybanned can still come, but the place is so hilly that it will have tons of gaps lol.

With hills, it should ok then. But even if you have a shuttleport, that doesn't count. You will get in trouble for completely walling off any area.

......which is why the devs need to add in walls and gates.....and I'm not talking anything fancy, just something like what Kadaara has.

which is sad, considering all that it could do to improve/enhance the beauty of the world, add in some variety to player cities, and perhaps lead the way to factional cities for massive city raids

If your city isnt totaly flat it may not work. Also players can fly into the back of the houses at and angle and eventualy they fly through a crack

we used to have a giant wall of medium houses around our rebel bases on Naboo. (bloodfin) it worked for a while but became too hard to maintain.

What they should do is allow Architects to build stronhold walls that can be placed around the city maybe even with Turrets. It should be placeable by the mayor and thereshould be gates that the mayor can set permissions to just like any other structure.

It would give the cities more of a stronghold feel and would bring more fun to the GCW.

Also these walls should be destroyable by certain vehicles (combatvehicles if they are ever added) such as AT-ATs, AT-STs and whatever they eventually add for us rebels. Also some city structures should be able to be destroyed it would add to the realism of the war that is sweeping the galaxy.

Pistols, rifles, carbines, swords etc should not be able to harm these structures. I'm talking big scale weapons.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the devs have said that walls will never be added.
