With all this cross server garbage going on, it is hindering active cities from advancing and littering the landscape with hundreds of harvesters. Can you say lag??? I know 1 particular idiot ( best I could come up with on short notice) that lives on another planet.....and has a city on Tatooine.....his town has enough ghost residents to keep it rank IV until the apocolypse and noone is even there. I know I will get flamed by the crafters....but I really don't care at this point, heck I am a crafter too. I have waited for over 6 months for Rank III and I think my residents deserve it. If given the option I would say condemn the inactives and get'm out of there.

I agree, i hate inactive houses more than anything. Usually, the people who owned them never come back. Even if there isnt a purge or anything. Mayors HAVE to be given the ability to have peoples houses taken out of the city. There would be some mayors of course who would do this for no reason, so there should also be something where at least 10 or so people would have to go and vote for this to happen so people couldnt come back to where their house used to be and take out their lightsaber... That would be a fair way to get rid of useless clutter in cities. If a house is deeded, then the deed should be returned to the persons inventory, and maybe there could be a way to temporarily increase the persons inventory capacity to exactly the ammount of items they had, and as the get rid of and item in the inventory, the capacity would go downone and continue this way until it reaches 80 again. I just really want to see those abandoned houses out of the city so bad.

They need to do something about the houses of inactive players. There have been houses in the city I live in that I have never seen the person who owns the house and this is a year length time period. Some people just don't care to up root there house when they leave (ex. all the people who put that they quit the game because of the "horrible" CU for the name of there house or structure). I think the mayor should be given some notice when a citizen has "left t he game" then in 2-3 months time the mayor should be able to condem the house to disapear in X amount of time. There have been only a handful of people that I know that have quit the game and have actually come back. It has been over a year I believe since the last purge of the servers of in active accounts, the dev's already have enough to do with fixing the bugs why not leave the simple work like clearing houses to the mayor. That or set it back to if the house runs out of maintenance it goes poof and have it set to where the items go to your bank. There are many great places for new people to settle but space is becoming limited due to people who no longer play.

I heartily agree....

I can't even begin to tell you the level of disappointment on my guildies faces, when after hanging around in our city on Saturday waiting for the magic moment when we drop the long awaited shuttleport... our mayor comes over to deliver the bad news...

Naboo's level 4 cities are capped... no shuttle in the foreseeable future. We're now on the permanent waiting list.

it was heartrending... especially since there are 3 known ghost cities on Naboo, 2 of them rebel, on a planet securely controlled by the Empire.

Something HAS to be done.

How do I explain that to the citizens? Sorry, no soup for you, thanks for your support.

I'm sorry if you are gonna be gone for over a month, give your stuff to someone for safe keeping, or lose your house. I don't care if you got a million in the bank... your house, your city is taking up space, and there are other more active guilds and cities who could use the boost.

They talked about the Combat Upgrade for over a year...so when they "talk" about doing something all we can do is cross our fingers and hope it happens soon. They were supposed to perge the servers every so often of the accounts gone for whatever amount of time they chose (which was too long to wait to perge accounts I think) and now its been almost a year since the last and only perge. They want more people to play the game but space is kinda growing limited for some servers since there are fields of crap left over from those who dont play anymore. I know this sounds mean but I don't care if someone who left 6 months ago's stuff is no longer in game, if they really cared about that stuff they should have come back not just quit because the dev's didnt listen to there tantrum and changed there diaper right away.
