How about a building we can go to that you can address maybe an item to a person and they can pick up at their nearest post office box? Bit like mail but a parcel service.

Thats a cool idea. WoW has a mail system like that, but thats how you check your mail, no control + E lol. Still i think that would be a cool concept to add to the game

Or better still maybe they could let us have a new droid that delivers things for merchants etc. How cool would that be? Sort of aParcel forcedroid....could link it to one of the merchant skill boxes since most of them are now pretty redundant since the Global Vendor search came in

i woudl rather see the building, im sick of the same buildings in my city. we need new ones

my guild has a post office exchange system....it is very unique...we think....however...their could be some draw backs depending on your guild....
what we did was we took 1 small home.....<now we have 2>
and we placed a simple chest NAMED for each person which is their own post box...for members to drop off and where they can pick up...which is very handy for when people are off planet or not online....we also created a Misc box for items you can drop off that someone might have an intrest in which is a free for all box...
now being that you have to admin each person and they could potentionally do other things....we set up some guidelines and so far has worked very well....of course or guild is a close circle of friends...and we do have a lot of trust.
1. not to be used for storage <keep box clean> prevents too many items in the house
2. boxes are for drop off only unless its your box <basically stay out of others boxes>
3.if you have a large guild you may want to limit the number of people with boxes to their main charecters...being that you can only have so many people on the admin list <wish they would fix that>
4 dont drop of items of large value <just in case>
5 assign 1 person as post master ....to do clean up of the misc box and people with any problems can go to one man.
6 we noted it like this....any stolen items ....or any problems occur and the office will shut down.
so far we have had it going for almost 2 years with no problems....very very handy
