Thread: Some ideas on NPC city
Some of these ideas are taken from other members, some are my own.
1. People should be fined for wearing armour and weapons in an NPC city (you won't be fined on planets like Tatooine, Lok, Endor and other remote planets where weapons are a normal thing), unless you are carryingRebel armour in a Rebel city, or Imperial in an Imperial city.
2. Cities should be didvided into different sectors (underground, shopping streets etc.). In the underground there would almost be none contraband searches, lesser chance of being fined for carrying armour and weapons. This would become a place where you should findopposing faction players, smugglers and bounty hunters.
3. Shopping streets should be a place with many contraband searches and much factional prescence. Here merchants should be able to rent a tent and sellitems there and NPC chefs (maybe players too) should be able to run a restaurant there, where they could sell their foods and drinks.
4. If you wear an opposing faction armour you should be attacked at once (or pilot suit). This would stop players from wearing a Stormstroop armour in the middle of a Rebel base (that looks kinda silly).
5. NPC's should ahould get something to do, not just walking around. Let them do their daily chores. Make NPC's talk more, bounty hunters should be talking about recent kills and stuff like that, and merchants should be talking about trade, while other NPC talk about other things.
6. Add some more of NPC's making sounds (already starting to come, with the security saying "Move along!"). Especially in the cantina.
Well what do you think? Discuss, and add more ideas![]()
