For the love of Pete, can we please reduce whatever it is that causes all the lag at the starports! I've been playing this game since the start and every time I turn that corner from outside to inside or the one at the front desk, I always lag very badly.
Is it really necessary to have all that whatever it is that is causing so much trouble? And don't think it's my system, I've been upgrading all the time and nothing helps. And yes, I have DSL, so no real connectivity issues either.
Wow, what 2+ years and still the same lag around the corners, yeesh

you know, the current combat system probably has more to do with the lag than any technical problems.
people will naturally gather at the most convenient places for the things they need.
and in this system most people need buffs. so the docs sit where it's convenient, right outside the starports.
with the removal of buffs (at least the way we know them) we might see a reduction in lag.
now if only they'd revamp the player city systems, or the NPC city systems... then we might see people spread out around cities more.
