for me as an autocad user it would me unproductive to work without them =)

I never really enjoyed using AutoCAD so, I'd rather have Corel Bryce 5 type set of controls for moving, rotating and tilting objects in my house.

yeah we need something that can allow us to place furniture more precisely and easily, the current system of pushing and pulling it towards your view is unproductive and its often impossible to make things connect or put one thing exactly onto another (like a wall of bookcases)

something I have found useful, is to drop all the in this case bookcases you want in your row/stack, then take a chair like an appolsterd(sp?) chair and drop it near by, face the chair the way you want to be able to move things then sit in it, that way no matter which way your cam is facing you will move the items the exact same way as you are sitting, and you can even get up and move, then go sit back down and still be able to move things and place them in the correct spot, It helps alot when you need a stright line of something.
