Test center notes state that Naboo mediums are no longer placeable next to each other.
As much as I disagree with this, I can see why they are doing it I suppose - but my question is, will this be retroactive? Will they force you to redeed and move or is it just a "From now on..." kind of deal?

I doubt they can make you redeed it. I assume it's the "from now on..."

If it were to be retroactive I foresee a lot of cities emptying that have bases in them.....

I dont get why they are doing this. What we need are city wall and other things to form bases or just keep cities safe, and their taking out the closest thing we have to them.

The devs have stated that they don't want walls. Agree or disagree, that's why they're taking it out.

The footprints and the artwork remain the same. It still looks like a wall, but you can fly right through the "joint" of the houses.

You still can place them right next to each other, it's just that you can go through them now.

Our city is based entirely on the premise that you can place these houses next to each other. So now if any new residents want to join us, we can't have them fit into our current city layout. We have a beautiful city too. You should check it out.

Insurgo, Naboo - Kettemoor Server
Insurgo City Video
The layout is not exactly how it looks today, but its the base model, have had some spots poof recently, and trying to fill stuff in. A note on the video, its around 30mb download, sorry its kinda big, my brother didn't have a good codec to encode it with at the time. Hope you all enjoy.
Check out the links on the left. Think we still have a video for download too.

As the Mayor of Insurgo, I will defintely be watching this closely. If in fact they will still allow medium houses to be placed suchas we have them but allow people to go through the "joints" I will be a very happy mayor indeed; however, if they no longer allow the houses to be placed directly next to each other, there will be alot of cursing and construction going on around our city.
For an overhead shot of the city minus some gardens and stuff you can go to this link: City Layout
