Riventek | Corbantis

This week’s submission is from
riventek, a naturalistic Varactyl Habitat, using some great looking rocks andLighting,
this simplistic indoor/outdoorsy refuge is really appealing. It definitely is
worth checking in person to see the hidden room behind the rocks (has some of
the nice book type collectables)

Here is what Riventek has to say:

This is a habitat I
built for my Varactyl, Griff. He's friendly to most folks, until you
try to actually get past him to the secret cavern he guards!

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Remember if you wish to submit your image for the home show you must do 3 things.

1. Take an ScreenShot of the Creation (Pa Halls, City Structures, Homes, Ships are all acceptable!)

2. Email the image(s) to [email protected]with Galactic Home Show in the subject AND your Forum Posting Name (not your login name unless its the same ) (DO NOT forget that part!!)

(note the image needs to be .bmp/.jpg/.gif and should be no bigger than 400k, If you have multiple images you may send them as a .zip which should not exceed 1.5mb)

3. Please send only full sized
screenshot(s) it is better if they are not edited and made into a
collage (this is something I do to the homeshow's myself)

Lastly... The home show
index has been streamlined to reduce the load time and is presented in
a much more accessable list format.

Thats awesome! At first glance, I really thought it was taken at a planet outside. I'm curious though, question to the person who made it, what are the 'rocks' I think those represent? I don't think I recognize it.

-I support a Galactic Civil War fought between regular, average players... Simply strict, hardlined Imperials & freedom lovin' Rebels fighting for control of the galaxy. A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

Careful with that, I had the CL 65 varactyl egg on my floor and a non-admin, my alt, was able to tame the egg. Not sure if the varactyl deeds can be 'stolen' in the same manner. Might want to make your house private just in case.

Woot! I got on the homeshow! In answer to your question, those rocks are various different "Asteroid Chunks". They are MASSIVE! You should see the room right next door to this one...its practically a cave! I'll post pictures soon, but if anyone likes, here is my other work:

My home is located at Gryphon Hall, near the Imperial Outpost on Dantooine. Waypoint is -5907 -2116. The home listed is right nearby it (just up the hill) at -5877 -1877. Its also my podracer shop. Also I am starting a city here. If you'd like to join it and get a free decorated house, send an in-game mail to Annn. She's my recruiter.

i'd also like if you could create a character on flurry so you could help decorate my hunter's lodge. I've already got plenty of stuff on the walls, (huntingtrophies, armor, etc)but i can't decide what i want on the floor

Congratulations, Riventek, on your recent award! You certainly deserve it!

I was going to ask about the rocks as well and then it occured to me that they might be from meteorites mined in space.

Keep up the awesome work!

Thank you very much Yes, they are meteor chuncks. I'm glad they're so big, they make great natural walls.

But i do got a question for you. What are those books GarVa mentions, i saw them on one of the pics you have online.

Yeah woot for Corbantis, we finally have a homeshow victory. Anyways the books are mystical tomes. They come from the Wookiee planet but I dont know any more details than that. I buy every one I find. You should see my office. LOL

Great use of the asteroid chunks I dropped one in my house to see how big they were and was rather shocked at their size!

Oh, and the books are Mystical Tomes and can be looted from the Sayormi witches/monks/warriors in the Dead Forest.

The sayormi are great, they also drop other great stuff....

books (5 different colors of tomes that I've found - blue, black, red, purple, brown)

Voodoo dolls

medicine bags

potions (7 colors so far - red, purple, blac, white, blue, green, violet)

stone daggers (forget the name)

mystical scroll (looks different than the other scrolls)

and they drop them frequently enough that an hour or 2 you will have more than you know what to do with

Carrying on with the slightly off-topicness

The snakes in the dead forest drop eye balls which are very cool if you're building a voodoo altar type setting and if you go into the Myydril Caverns the uwari beetles drop a set of items all called Adventure's Remains which contains another book, plus a rusty pan and a crumpled shirt.

If nothing else Kashyyyk is great for decorating loot I've been bringing back as much as I can for friends who don't have the expantion yet.
