Thread: Another possible solution to urban sprawl!

How underground housing? I do beleive this idea was noted as a 2 year reward but how about under certain conditions a player/players could use a home which is underground!
Pretty much the lowest level one would be slightly smaller than a small house, but it goes 1-2 floors into the ground. This wouldnt be for low levels though mostly for high end players who need storage. Each floor would be progressivly bigger than the last floor (so that means the bottom floor is much larger than the top floor). Everything else would work as a normal house but instead of seeing five small ones owned by one player you would see one small one which turns out to be actually very large.
A second type would be a small enterance (smaller than a small house) which is built at the side of a mountain/hill. The enterance then leads to a 1-2 floor house which is situated underneath the ground. This would be more rare but would also possibly be the more pratical choice, this could also spawn some new ideas of cities (mountain side cities? underground cities?).
Post your thoughts/fixes about my ideas.

Interesting idea, but how will that stop urban sprawl? A lot of people like having a view from surface level or they're a seller who wants people to see their shop.

actually this would only solve a few problems really. mostly the problem of seeing houses like "Jims Storage 3" and so on.
