I am trying to add my alt to admin but instead of putting people on the administrator list it adds them to the entry list instead. I thought it might be a builtin safeguard to protect quest items so I picked up my Katarn and tried again, with no luck. Keeps adding to entry. It is a small Lok house and I am a citizen in a city. Anyone know a workaround for this bug?

Are you using the radial menu or the command? If you are using the command it is /setpermission admin and the character name you wish to add to the admin list.

hey, thanks, I was using the radial. I wasn't really sure of the command, fooled around with a few /addadmin things. I will go test this out now.

Ok, i have some good news for you and bad news for you.

The good news is that it is not a bug. You can only add people to admin if you are not declaring residency at that house. This means that you can add your alt to ANY OTHER house that you own. Something to try..... undeclare your residency and see if you can add him then.

There is an admin bug that seems to occur when a house is transfered. I've tried to add my alt to 2 of my houses, neither of which have my residency declared, but even though i get the message "(name) has been added to admin" when i look at the admin list its completely empty, not even the name of the owner on it. I have heard that if the person is added to admin before the house is transferred then that person will remain on the list after the transfer, other than that placing the house yourself doesn't bugadmin.

huh, I've never heard of this... I've added/removed folks from my admin/entry/ban list of my tent with residency with no problems.

if /setpermission doesn't work, then we'll probably need more info before giving you a diagnosis.

I posted about this bug about two publishes ago, recieving no help nor answers to my questions I might add.

It happened to me the day I formed my city actually. Anyway, if you drop a building, then transfer it to another owner, the new owner cant modify the admin list. Sometimes the new owner will see the system message relating to the addition of a name to the admin list or entry etc. However if you actually opent the appropriate list, you will not see the name. This happens whether its done with the /setperm admin "name" or via the radial menu. If the new owner redrops the house so that they are the owner the bug does not occur. It only occurs after a owner ship transfer via /transferstructure. I say this after having tested it to the best of my ability and pushing the limits of my patience with my guild and city members.

o man....i really need this bug fixed...my city of over 60 people Is ALL small houses taht i placed and transfered.....thus..NOONE in my city cna add admin and im getting alot of hater from it

Hehe, I got one of the members of the guild to deal with our city and man am I glad I dont have to deal with that he!l. No one can add admins, and also it seems that whenever someone is added to the militia the second they try to grant zoning rights to someone it tells them they need to be in the militia! I tried to give my alt zoning rights but it didn't work, so I had to set her up outside of town with all of the Kimogillas and gurks and whatnot. Luckily my ranegr had a few camo kits left but I would really like to have her in the city. and the mayor isn't on 24/7 so it is a real pain setting people up in the town.
