Thread: Multiple cities with the same name?

Currently, there is a debate in our city about a portion of the population possibly splitting off and forming a sister city on another planet, but maintaining tight communications and relations, more like two branches of the same city rather than two different cities.
Which begs the question...is it possible for cities on two (or more) planets to have the same name? Such as (using our case as an example) New Haven, Naboo and New Haven, Dantooine?

It's potentially confusing to anyone who does not know that there are two cities with the same name. People might see the city name, disregard the planet name (if it is mentioned), and go to the wrong place. This could be quite bad for business and other activities.
