Thread: Could you steal control of a city by..... please read.

If someone wanted to steal control of a city could they...
1. Have 2 people move in the targeted city.
2. Figure out the the exact begining and end of the 3 week voting cycle and at the same time take note of how many active citizens there are voting on a regular basis.
3 Have one of the 2 peoplerun for mayor telling the current mayor, militia that your just doing so to gain a little politician xp over time to master it no matter how long it will take.
4. with only a few hours to go in the election cycle you have the second person vote for you. Then to /transferstructure to other people from the second resident, the person who has the structuretransfered to them will then declare residence and procede to vote for you first character. Rinse and repeat this with different people untill you have acumulated enough votes to win the election.
Is this possible? Is there some game mechanic that I am not aware of that would stop this from working as I spelled it out?
Not planing on doing this myself but being the mayor a modest city on corellia it just something that crossed my overly paranoid mind.

First of all pay attention to who moves into your city! Make sure your militia understands who is allowed and who is not allowed in! Smart mayors and militia will keep this from happening!

in the end, doesnt the voteing only count people that are citizens AT the time the city does all its math. Ie so you cant have the whole server tag team on one house.

The last full week of the Mayorial Race is locked. Anyone that wishes to run for mayor has to do so within the first two weeks, as no one can enter the race afterward. I imagine this was implemented to help keep exactly this from happening, and at least give the mayor a chance to try to do something about it.
