I'm really new at this and have some questions, hoping someone could answer me

  1. How do you make a cloner factional? I remember that you use to be able to clone at a factional cloner in a player city and clone there "overt" - is there anyway to do that now and be special forces?

  2. How close can cities / townships / villages/ metropolis' etc be to one another. Is there a certain distance that they have to be apart? i.e. from city hall to city hall?

  3. Is stronghold still broken or does it work? I know that the research facility still works, are any others still worth it?

  4. Can you place turrets within cities if you can can acquire zoning rights and aquire the space for the foot print?

  5. How do you find out if a planet is "full" of cities?

Thank you so much for your help!!

  2. How close can cities / townships / villages/ metropolis' etc be to one another. Is there a certain distance that they have to be apart? i.e. from city hall to city hall? At least 1000 meters apart.

  3. Is stronghold still broken or does it work? I know that the research facility still works, are any others still worth it? They appear to work but stronghold doesn't seem to really help all that much and research facility is debated if its valueable or not - as a crafter i take every little thing I can get.

  4. Can you place turrets within cities if you can can acquire zoning rights and aquire the space for the foot print? Yes.

  5. How do you find out if a planet is "full" of cities? It can be complicated, the best way is to go on the planet map and highlight mission terminals. All the terminals that are in the middle of no where are cities, count them up to see if its maxed.

Thank you so much for your help!!

An easy way to see if a planet is full is to get hold of a generic city hall (actually, do they exist?), and try to place the city. You don't have to go through the whole sequence, if it goes to the bit where you can place the city hall from an overhead view, then there are city spaces left.

Yep, the easiest way to check to see if the planet's Player City's cap has been reached is to try to place it. If you get to the overhead building placement view then there are spots left. This will also confirm that you are atleast 1km away from any other city halls.
