I read through all the FAQs and I understand everything I need to do, to start a city.
I have 1 question that I could not find the answer for in the FAQs (unless I over looked it).
It's rather simple I am sure, so a quick answer would be great!
Does the City Hall take up lots? If so, how many?
Thanks in advanced!

Nope, doesn't take lots - I still have 8 lots free and am holding a small house...

Great! I was hoping it didn't. I read through ALL the FAQs again, and still did not find the lots it used. I found the required lots for Med Centres, Cantina's and things like that, but nothing for City Hall. I hope it's 0, I'd hate to have to figure away of getting some lots, even with 3 characters, I'm stretched
Heh.

I can make 100% sure once I am home - but I transfered one house yesterday - still holding one and have 8 lots - so I must be remembering things very wrong if the city hall would take a lot... ![]()

That would be great if youc ould. I need to be 100% sure, so I know if I need to free lots up, before getting the 10 people together, only to find I can't drop the Hall because I am short on lots.

None of the city structures require lots. Also the City Hallwill hold 250 items.

Ah great, thanks! Well I can now rest, knowing I do not need to figure out how I would free up some lots =)

Also this can be easily confirmed. You can try to place the City Hall, if you get to the overhead Building placement view, then you are good to go.
