I have a hosue on Naboo that is condemned. Sadly the owner is a character taht is no longer active and I am desperate to look in there, I think I left an item that is quite valuable in there. Is there any way that I can gain access to it without reactivating that character? I contacted a CSR and sadly they refused to help.

The way you, SOE, have dealt with your customers is absolutely abysmal. It is the producers and marketing managers, etc. and so on, that are the problem and YOU are the reason the game has failed.

I'm not in game right now, so I can't test this, but you maybe able to deposit money into the maintenance into the structure if you target it and use the /paymaint xxxx command. You have to alreadybe on the admin list for this to have any hope of working. Again, this is just a shot in the dark. I think you can target a house type structure by targeting the sign.

Otherwise, you may be out of luck.

It does not. Only the owner may place funds into a condemned building or structure. Admins can only add maintenance if the structure is not in a condemned state.

No way around it. The owner *has* to be the one to pay the fees.

Ok, I have a follow up question as to when a structure gains the "condemned" status. Is a structure considered condemned when it is out of maintenance and is pulling funds from the owners bank account? Or, is a structure condemned when it is out of maintenance and the owner's bank account is empty.

If the latter is the case, could you clear the condemned status by bank tipping the owner some funds?

Though as I was typing this, I think I recall that if you bank tip to a player that is off line, they credits do not actually go into the player's bank until the next time that log in.

I think you are out of luck on this.
