Did anyone decorate a room as a shrine/meditation chamber of any sort? I wish to do that on my house's upper floor, but have no idea on how to start. Any help is appreciated

Hmm, floor pillow. Lots of candles. Coronet candles would be bestI think. Small portait of twilek for the object of the shrine. ivory cafe table perhaps? not sure if it would fit in but you would want a low table.

Depends on what kind of shrine you are looking for, most recently I used a webweaver rug for the floor, and a lil table in front with a white/clear force crystal, placed candles around the rug and tossed up a few torches in the corners. Good luck

Well, I wanted it as a meditation chamber heavily infused with the Force, thus I was thinking of a room with adorning holocrons and Force crystals, and the meditation "seat" (the webweaver blanket is a good idea on that) with a small construction (maybe made of tables stacked on top of one another)relatively similar to ruins. I'm not very familiar with all the furniture, so I don't know if this is doable with the ingame furnitures

Ran out of room in my house, or more candles and stuff would have been added.

Put up a strange statue and make sure to have some red candles and food offerings.

I have made 2, one in my home, one in the small circular room below the bridge of my sorosuub. They are very similar. I am a TKM, so I went for an oriental/martial arts look. Also, very simplistic.

1. In my home, used a rounded chest ( i think) placed a bestine candle on top, then hung a picture of one of the plants (do not remember name), I then hung vibroknuclers on either side of the painting. It is quirte simple, but serves my purposes

2. on my ship, I used a low end table, two candles, another plant painting, another vibroknuckler. All the vibroknucklers are weapons I have used, just me, but I think it personalizes the display.

i hope this helps.

If I might make a suggestion or two... You could use the loot glass table (the semi-circular one) in place of the stacked tables you have. Get four or six of the glass tables andput them in two stacks. Rotate them appropriately and then raise two of them to make something like what you have. I would put the holos on the shelves of the tables. You might want to use some asteroid chunks to give your meditation area a kind of cave feel. As far as decor, I think you are on the right track. Perhaps using the Aurillian scuplture would be a nice touch. And lightsabers might fit in. If you can get some holograms, put those under something for a darker look. (They radiate a blue light that glows nicely and reduces the light in a given area.

I would like to ask something... Where does this rug you used come from? I have not seen that one before.

one i quite like is drop a blue rug then the webweaver blanket in the same spot and rotate the blanket 45 degrees so that it is in the centre of the blue rug. looks kinda nice.

as mentioned above the hologrames hidden in or behind an object look excellent......i ve not tried them but i think glowsticks work the same and the mystical glowing orb works quite well too.

the dreamcatcher type mobiles from kashyyyk look quite good too

Did someone say Shrine? The Shrinekeepers of New Unity invite you to witness the divine majesty of the noble and most huggable Fuzzie Lords. The decorations are dated, but the Shrine was decorated pre-Aurillia with a 150-item cap.

or click the link in my sig for something that actually works. /rolle

hard to find, but one of the coolest things i have ever picked up in game is the Mystical Glowing Crystal. It replaced (and may have been replaced again by) the Mystic crystal, which looks like a red force crystal. The Glowing variety looks like a light blue force crystal and glows blue. Think Lytus artifact, only significantly more luminous. Adds a nice touch to a shrine kind of setup. Don't know if it is still lootable, like I said, but it was given as a reward in the course of the Lady Valerian Quests in Mos Eisely's Lucky Despot cantina.

the Mystical Glowing Orb can be got while running the Valarian Themepark out of the Lucky Despot.

It looks like a blue crystal while in inventory, but brightens even the darkest corner of a house when dropped with a bright, daimond-blue light.
