Any chance of them giving us real windows like they have in the POB ships?

How about letting us put furniture on the balconies or patio's in front of our house?
Many a time I've had the urge to just sit in my house, grab a cold one and stare outside a window.

A light switch/dimmer option on the structure control panel would be nice.

Just a few thought's from a far far away random place. Nice to visit but you would not want to live there.

it would also make people get drawn into your house. if you see a interesting outdoor decor your going to want to see the inside.

Yeah...the cities always remind me of barracks...they all look the same...no personal touches on the outside...maybe a limit of 3 to 7 items on the outside porches so that people don't go crazy with the outside decor...

They real windows thing I think would definately add a lot to the houses. Right now everytime I step into a house it feels like a cave.

Oh by the way have you guys noticed that a narglatch can stalk and attack you in your house if it's set public. Man...do I feel sorry for the Lvl 1 crafters updating their vendor.

The reason the devs give is that customization would create lag.

I think lag could be limited by limiting the customization inthe way that is donefor signs. Customizable color and texture should not be hard, and could be done in such a way as to cause few rendering problems at a distance. A few stereotypical external items such as entry lights (proximity-enabled)and urnsthat could be selected from the house terminal, or crafted for placement only as external house customizations, should not induce very much lag.

Seems like Devs always use lag as an excuse not to do something.
