Firstly,
If you have ever noticed in Theed, Naboo that palace hasa window that you can see out of...why can't the devs just use that programming or whatever and implement it into houses.
Secondly,
The only way to load objects in a house is to actually go in the house, correct? Correct. So, why not have make the character go

So, why not have make the character go inside the house and then the objects could load on the outside as they load on the inside. This may seem flawed for continuity purposes...but it wouldn't make a difference in guild halls because you cannot see the top before you enter anyway. So this is my two cents if it makes sense to you like/dislike it then reply.

I always thought they should make the outside porch a "room" just like the inside, with the same dimensions except the main difference is the walls are see through. So all the items loads inside the house when you step in..
I don't know how you could make it work on the outside though, I'm not a dev... they can figure out the technical stuff. If they can't do it, if you're outside just make it look like its empty. Its better than nothing.. until they can sort out the technical stuff.

The devs say there are lag-induced griefing possibilities with house items that are visible from the outside.
I'm thinking that the application of somescience-fiction technologywould help with this: something like visibility barriers that only allow visibility through windows if explicitly activated, and that don't allow visibility into the house from the outside. Something like this happens with doors; the outside is visible when the door opens, but the door opening is toon-specific, i.e., it appears to be implemented client-side.
Thisproposal does not address item placement restrictions on balconies and around the exteriors of house, which are intended for outside visibility so cannot be made lag-neutral.

You can however go up on the top of the house and pull you AT-ST. It is visable from the ground.
