I swear the C.S. at SOE most go by commission, they get paid by the number of Tickets they respond to.
I have submitted at least half a dozen Tickets on this and every response is obviously evident that the CSR's don't even bother reading the tickets, just skim the subject or for couple lines, assume they know the asnwer... type the asnwer they are assuming... and then lock the tickets so you can't even reply back saying its the wrong answer.
I am having a problem with my Guild Hall.
I built a Guild Hall, I was a member of a Guild when I built it.
I; and some members of that Guild... split off and formed a new Guild.
Now that we are in our new Guild, and things are going well... I have found that the Guild Terminal in my Guild Hall, is no longer functional.
The Guild Leader of this new Guild has given my Sponsorship rights and I can sponsor new members in his Hall, but not mine.
He can use the Terminal in his Hall, but he can not use the one in mine.
All I am trying to find out is... can someone at SOE reset the blasted thing? I think it is still tied to our old Guild.
Every time I submit a CSR Ticket In-Game on this... they reply assuming I am the Guild Leader and that I have to issue permissions or whatever to my members to let them use the Hall Terminals ... which tells me they dont even bother reading my Tickets.
I'm not the Leader. Someone else is, they've already granted me permission to use the Terminal, and I cant use it in my own Hall.
The FAQ's on forming Guilds and placing Guild Halls says that when someone joins a Guild and already has a Hall placed, that Hall automatically becomes a part of that Guild.
So why did mine not become a part of our new Guild, and if it is still tied to our old Guild... how do I reset it with out having to Redeed the damn thing? Thats an option I simply will not take. It took me way too long to with way too much trouble, to decorate that place.. if I have to Redeed it then I'd rather just not bother even putting it back up, it'd be way too much of a hassle and we really need a second Hall anyway.
What can I do?

The Player Association and Housing forum might have some more information.

Sorry....it's late. LOL
I meant Player Associations and Grouping. It's in the Core Systems area, too. They deal specifically with guild issues, which is why I suggested it.

If you didn't find an answer over there... Yes, the guild hall is supposed to transfer to whatever guild the owner belongs to, but you know how that goes. Your best bet is to redeed it and place it again. After that it should recognize your guild affiliation.

As was said above, the hall ties to the guild you're in when you place it. So if you formed or joined a new guild while your hall was already placed, the only way to fix that is to re-deed the hall and it will tie into the new guild and you will be able to use it. There is no other way to fix it currently.

Oh, yeah sure. Try search. You were kidding right?
I mean seriously now... Search? On this Board? You mean it actually works?
I ran a Search of on the Corvette yesterday and you nkow what, it told me there were no posts in existence on this Board with the word "Corvette" in them. I had to go dig through the Quests forum page by page to find what I was looking for.
Search on this board only seems to work about 15% - 20%% of the time. The rest of the time it seems to be broken or whatever.
But anyway, thanks guys... I'll go try the PA forum.

Yeah my guild had pretty much the sam situation awhile back, split off from an old guild and formed a new one. The guild halls are tied to whatever guild the owner of the hall is in when they placed the hall. The only way to reset it so that it works for the new guild is by redeeding it and placing it again. Would be nice if there were another way to fix that but unfortunately that seems to be the only way.

search does just its set to only show posts from the last 7 days unless you change it so try that and you will find what your looking for.
