Here we stand about a year since the first great exodus made so many of the player cities empty, and so many of our friends leave for greener pastures, mostly places with some concept of customer service. I look around at the results of SOE's attempt to hide the truth of just how many of our friends have left, and I see them strangling what is left of the game.

Take my own city for example. I am mayor of a growing city on naboo, with 66 citizens. Actually we have almost 90 but we cant fit them all within the boundaries of a township because the planet naboo is capped, filled to the brim with empty cities. We cannot get a shuttle because the planet is capped with dead cities. We cannnot level and get enough space for the rest of our citizens to be within the city limits because naboo is filled with the left behind cast off empty shells of cities long dead. We cannot place all our vendor tents within our own city to help support it financially because we do not have the city space for them to be within city limits and even if we did, who would come with no shuttle.

In Soe's infinite stupidity and arrogance, they are choking the life out of the cities/players still trying to make a go of it here by not allowing all these dead cities to go away (according to their own stated rules when player cities came out). SOE dreams of one day attracting all those players who have left, and want to impress them by preserving all their cast off possessions and cities long dead.

When will SOE stop trying to chase the players who have already left, and remember the ones who are still here? When will SOE actually show that they care by helping us who are still trying to make this greatly changed game work for our guild??

It is increasingly difficult to enjoy the universe of swg when we are inundated with bugs, restrictions, broken professions, constantly changing rules and bandaids that are pushed live just to try to make the game work. It is hard to be immersed in the world that is swg as a simulation, when things like the above are allowed to continue to exist.

Either purge the game or lift the caps.

I don't want to bring up old topics but I just came back to SWG. I didn't expect to have any houses left when I came back. I didn't expect the planets be filled with ghettos either. You really should allowe unused houses owned by people who aren't playing the game anymore to disappear. I heard the reason why you started doing this was thatto many people werecomplaining there stuff was gone when they came back. Also that your trying to attract old customers back,I know as well as you, people conplain about everything. Most player cities are being hurt by this policy, the city I live in on ahazi (shealter haven). Half of it can't grow because of to many condemmed buildings by the empire and no sight of they being gone. I'm sure some cities have it worst then us. This policy also leaves room for HARASSMENT. People could leave their buildingsstanding onpurpose after a fight about something lame to torture the resisdents of that city for some kinda of pay back. That's stretching it a little I know but this policy would allowed such things. This policy in my opinion could not help bring people back to the game, but drive people away from the game. I just came back and I'm loving it for the most part, but I don't like seeing planets filled with abandon houses that belong to people who don't play the game anymore and who isn't supporting the game atm. You really should rethink this policy and rethink who is important to you? Paying Customers or non-Customers that might never return, while at the same time, (I stress this!!!) Hurting your paying customers!!! (For example; proventing players cities from full potentialand prime locations that could be use by paying customers) I've not met one person yetwho likes this policy!!!!!
