We have multi player seating made for more than one player to occupy...or do we? Can we add to the "sit" radial command of a chair/couch the "sit1" "sit2" "sit3" etc command?
Open the radial menu to a couch, chose sit1 the next player can then chose sit2. You are now both sitting on the same couch but not on eachother. Add to that, if you chose sit1 and there is already someone there you will get a message that states "that seat is already occupied". Fair enough?

I hope they work on that, it only makes sense since they have that for vehicles they should do it for furniture

aye its a good idea, i just merge futons together to make couches but be easier if you gould sit several people on one

Yeah I use to use small seats place 6 together in a half circle to make booths and you could seat 3 people in them and looked really cool.

its a great idea...in the meantime, a friend of mine hides chairs inside the couches so you sit on the chair and it looks like 2 people on the couch

I like to place ottomans on my couches, then move them up a little so that they look like cushions. It also makes it easier for other to target a place on the couch to sit.

Excellent idea... it would really add to Player Cantina's and such places.
Also a lot of good ideas for combining furniture just for that effect... but seriously, I would love it if they made it so more then 1 person could sit on the same couch. I am having to overlap couches and furniture on my Yacht to make a Meeting/Conference Room like area and I'm alrady at my max limit on the number of items I can put on my Yacht... and sadly the main floor is a nicely decorated Cantina but its just furniture. No more room for the nice "little" decorative stuff.
