Hi all,
Not sure what to search on, so I am making a new post.
In a player city on chimaera, earlier this week, I saw they had some x-wings parked outside. This looked really cool. Near the site were also some destroyed Imperial ships and an AT-AT, so it looked like a POI, but some peeps told me the X-wing were actually decoration, placed by players..
Now I am really curious as to how to be able to do this... are they specially crafted decorations, or can they be bought, or was I fooled and can't they be placed by players?
Does anyone have a clue? If so, I would like to know how to get/make/buy/craft etc. them...
Thanks,
CorporalClegg

I think what you are referring to are decorations that are available from events co-ordinators (there is one based in KV on corellia in one of the guild buildings). The decorations include crashed AT-ATs parked x-wings or tie's (depending on faction i think), cost money (and maybe faction but cant totally recall) and disappear after a short period of time.

You can buy them from Hotels in some Major towns, I usualy get mine from Bestine from an NPC called Event Organizer or something, they usualy cost about 10k credits + and last 8 hours, I think there being increased to 16 hours next publish though.
You can also get Jukeboxes to play music in your house, Race droids to make your own swoop races, Lottery droids etc

You can find the "Event Courdinaters" (SP?) in the RIGHT side, farthest RIGHT room of Hotels. For those that do not know, Hotels are located in most major cities (Coronet, Theed etc.). The things that you can get from them are REALLY cool and they cost next to nothing.
