I was wondering if it might be possible in the near future for the develepment team to consider changing structure signs back to the way they worked pre-CU. Prior to the CU, as you approached a player structure the sign's text would automatically appear above the sign (and in nice bold print). As we all know that doesn't happen anymore. In order to see the text, you now have to hover your cursor over it (and even then the text appears small and unsubstantial). I can recall countless times in the past (pre-CU) when I'd be traveling through a player city and find myself running into a shop simply because it's sign 'grabbed' me. I realize that I can find any shop with a vendor by checking the world map, but many times while, say, heading to an armorsmith, I'd notice a catchy sign for some other type of shop and duck in there for a quick look.
These days.....I've probably passed (not noticed) countless shops because I wasn't specifically looking for them (and I can't read the sign unless I stop and hover my mouse over them). If signs worked the way they did pre-CU, the shop would stand out much better (because they'd advertise in a way), perhaps improving business somewhat for vendors.
I realize that this post comes 3 months after the CU, but it's something that's been in the back of mind, and after 3 months I decided to finally post something about it.
Sometimes it can be the little things you miss the most. Any thoughts?

Anything that requires less mouse movement is very useful. I too miss the random shopping sprees, and in a time where the population is less, it gets harder to find decent equipment when your just cruising around.
Yes I'm aware that having the overhead map helps, yet I'm pretty sure merchant 3xxx is needed for that or something.

/sign... it makes it that much more difficult to look for someones house, or vendor areas, or whatever.
Please fix this or make it an option in the options area.
