I was looking through the homeshow database looking for ideas for my new Guild Hall and I saw the Imperal Planing Room one, with all of the X-Wing and Tie Fighters above the Tech Console, making it rally look like planning was going on, and not just a bunch o' computers. Well I was thinking that you could use Holograms instead of models You could take X-Wing and TIE-Fighters and submerge the bases of the holograms into the Tech Console so it looks like the Tech Console is projecting the hologram. It makes the planning effect look more hi-tech. I haven't tried this yet but it sounds cool. And please tell me if this idea has already been presented. =P

I have already done this with my shop. It looks really great. What I do is get the two technical consoles. The one with the display and round bottom and the one with a flat surface and a square bottom and then the hologram. I place the round bottomed console first, then, without moving, I place the sqared bottomed one on top of it. (I find the round bottom doesn't look too good so i do it this way, its unnoticable). Then again without moving your character place the holo. I /move the holo up 100 and it works and looks great.

Does it look better than the one with models and not holograms?
