I support your idea. And now were at it, please add windows to some of the houses. You can look outside into space while in a Multiplayership, like the Luxury Yacht, so i bet it can be done on the ground as well, same gamemechanic as far asi understand.

Ohh, could we please get a "Status" button in our Yacht, so hard to run around counting 75 items

being a hermit is bomb, but when u make a name for yourself on a server, its hard to do that

Here's a suggestion for the developers...I recently moved my tatooine house and was thinking how cool it would be to develop a new underground style Tatooine house. It could be just a medium or small, medium and large, similar to the house that Luke's aunt and uncle owned in Episode 4. There doesn't seem to be any reason why this counldn't happen from a design or programing standpoint and it would add to the ever increasing "cool things" in game. Please post your thoughts below and lets see if we can make this happen.

They should probably design the Lars Homestead to look/function that way too, instead of just being a slight sinkhole in the ground with a midget-sized, closed-off hut for an entrance. Just like they fixed Obi-Wan's residence to be an actual house (completewith decor, even if you can't go inside)instead of a tiny little piece of static landscape artwork.

i do agree with this idea, and it is highly possible. If you think about factional bases, a detachment headquarters goes underground by like 2 or 4 levels, this would be awesome implement in game. I dont think however it should be a type of housing allowed to be placed in a player city. i think it should be for outlanders or people that want to roleplay as a hermit or somethign. I roleplayed as a moisture farmer on a server once, it was fun. i just hung out outside ofbestine and rode my bike everywhere. An underground house would have been awesome

Uh, exactly how do you know that?

Do you know how the ground works? Because the ground is an object, just like everything else. How do trees know when they're on the ground? How do speeders know how far above the ground to float? How does the avator know that it's going up hill, down hill, or along a hill?

How would making subterranean houses impact all those other factors?

Not saying it's not possible, and I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I'm saying that, as a computer programmer myself, you just can't make statements like that without knowing what you're talking about. I get all frustrated, because I hear silly statements like that from users every day.

They should have like crafter houses like this. You plant it, and it has different components like droids have to make it work. All around the place is harvesters and such. You pay your house, it pays it.

maybe you should need a special profession to place them?

like cantinas etc.. and I agree that they shouldnt be placed in player cities and maybe a bit further from cities then you normally have to..
