Ok now I know already this would take work. But there are pro's and con's.
I have played asa Master Bio Engineer for a while. I make some creatures but comon, some of you know that the Tissues and additives for clothing and food come from us. Hey if you didn't well ya learned something new today.
Some take Meat or Flora, or Wood.......But they also take things like Milk and Egg. These are hard to get ya know. A stack of Tissues for example might take about 675 egg to make! Then ya gotta find the best egg and drive around looking for it.
-------------------------
Resources for anyone who does not know...
Egg: Harvested by scouts from Lairs. Sometimes you get egg, (usually bout 3-11 units each lair) but sometimes nothing, or creature samples (used by artisans to make creature habitats...a craftable emote if you will)
Milk: Harvested from Creatures if you have Mask Scent in Scout, Exploration 2. Easier then egg, but ya still have to milk stuff.
Fish: Optional, I like the fishing how it is but it is kinda slow, Fish is not used much as a specific crafting item as far as I have seen besides making pet stims.
---------------------------------------------------
Now, some of you might be bored....but I figured that might be important to put in.
Lets consider this structure similar to a factory. It takes money to run, and instead of power power lets use Flora so the pets can eat.
Placable by Master Bio Engineers, make is say 3 -4 lots so we can't place a ton of em, would not be balanced.
Consider a Creature Nursery. NOT to get hide, or bone, or meat. But to harvest the 3 resources above; milk, egg, and maybe fish.
Let it cost the same as a factory. Have the Bio Engineer add in a creature for resources. Examples
Eeopie Eggs, as they grow they give more egg.
Fambaa Milk, as they grow they give more milk.
Fish, optional, insert your idea here devs
Use a few creatures, not all of em obviously, some should give wild milk, some domesticated. And Lets say Naboo is the best milk at the time, use Fambaa's for the milk. If Tatooine has the best egg, use a creature from Tatooine in your nursery.
Cannot recover pets when they are released from Nursery, nor should the lvl and stats matter. The pets should be placed and their growth be the same as it would take for a lvl 10 to grow in your datapad. Rate of resource gathering should be the same for each pet at each level. A level 9 Fambaa should give same amount of milk as a lvl 9 Kaadu. Thus people can't make Fambaa's to get more milk.
Cap a number of pets to place inside, cost of upkeep should be same and cost of food should be determined by number of pets only.
resources should come in hourly as a harvester might bring in materials, but instead of experimenting on that, experiment on storage.
----------------------------
Pro's
Economy suddenly can boom with new milk and egg on the market. I know other Bio engineers and Chefs will want to use it, maybe other professions I have not played.
Brings Bio Engineers into the game a bit more, and helps us make tissues without hours of work, even help bring the price of Tissues down for tailors, well you can see how that affects as prices come down for related professions.
Brings up a neat way to liven a city, I don't have idea's for artwork, but I am sure whatever comes out would be worth it.
Con's
requires a bit of work to create and run.
Might upset Bio Engineers making their profits off Tissues....
OK think I have written enough...feedback please....devs read please.....

This is a great idea and would help to bring about the reinterest in being a tailor perhaps.
