I am curious about something. Is there any practical reason that windows don't work in the game? I would really like to be able to look outside when I am inside my structures. (Hmm... Do any structures besides Naboo even HAVE windows?)

Funny you should mention this, I was wondering this exact thing the other day.
For instance, my Medium Naboo House does not directly face the lake. But, if there were windows, I could get a great view from what I have made my bedroom. I would love that.

proberly because the system would have to load all the items in you house as well so u can see them causing even more lag.

Ship windows are one-way. You can see out, but other players can't see in. I think it would be awesome if house windows worked the same way, and I can't see why they don't. There is not one legitimate window in the ground game.

it wouldnt be much of a stretch for the devs to do for the houses what they have already done for ships like the nova courier and the yaacht

Yeah. And I just remembered, there are "real" windows in both the Corellian Corvette dungeon and the new player tutorial. I want them for houses, though.

There are also windows, or glass panes in some cloning centres.

Its really an issue to do with do we need these really. Though I do think that city halls should have access to balconies so players could pervay the enviroment.
Even better then that would be a new city structure spire where players could go six stories up and enjoy the enviroment.

yes windows in structure would be cool especialy high up on a city hall so the evil dictator runing the city can sit looking out rubbing his hands together thinking of all the money he is raking in. nah only joking i know how hard it must be to run a city but windows would be nice.
