Okay, so, these characters have the ability to build starships to travel the stars, bio-engineer animals by playing God with their DNA and even -- bring people back to life (I know, just kidding), yet.....

They still haven't figured out how to make roads?

-I support a Galactic Civil War fought between regular, average players... Simply strict, hardlined Imperials & freedom lovin' Rebels fighting for control of the galaxy. A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

Good point, but the vehicles are still affected by terrain. For instance, the pits on Tatooine. It wouldn't take much for some of them to be filled in, and designated rocks marking a path. As well, I'm just baffled that the only travel options are taking a flying transport and personal, 1-seater vehicles. Why not trains/monorails/gravs? It just seems kinda -- wonky to me.

Umm...even though our vehicles don't have wheels - we still smash into trees, rocks, etc. and have a hard time navigating hills and revenes, and so forth. Roads are an excellent idea to level terrain and clear obsticles for much easier travel.

Until our "flying" vehicles actually fly OVER stuff, roads would help immensely!
