can you declare residency in multiple towns?

Where is something that expressly says this can or cannot happen?

Thanks all

No, you can not declare residency in multiple houses even let alone cities.

Which prevents "10 person opening 10 different cities"

Yes there is a way to get residency in multiple towns but it is a bug and is officially frowned upon. That's why the Devs added the option to the City terminal in the City Hall that lets you resign citizenship.

Can we get an official response to this? I can't seem to find anything with a forum search and frankly I get conflicting answers when i open csr tickets.

You are suppose to be able to have only one declared home, however as someone else said there is a bug.

If you say live in Noplace and move to Here. Even if you leave no structures in Noplace when you move and you declare in Here you will still be a citizen of Noplace due to a bug. Its suppose to remove you from Noplace but can't. You will be charged taxes in both cities.

You can remove your citizenship by going to Noplace city halland use the /revokecitizenship command or using the city terminal

( We recently moved on Radiant, another thing is that for some reason it appears that if you have citizenship in 2 or more cities it doesn't count your vote anywheres. The guild leaders had to send out a gmail to the guild asking everyone to go to the previous city and revoke their citizenship and then vote again )

Did this work for you? I once removed my house from a city, moved to a new one, then tried to remove myself from the old city by using the terminal, and it didn't even give me the option(even though my name was still on the citizen list).

If you are positive it worked, thank you much, you took care of my problem.
