I remember a long time ago before the game came out they said player cities would be able to fortify themselves w/ walls and turrets. Since they got rid of the "Outcast" pVp system, I can understand the lack of a need for turrets. But walls would really add character and definition to some cities.

On a related note I'd like fences or short walls for making yards, but that's a pipedream.

I wish we could make faction strong holds, with all the features of a house, and a faction base.

Also a good idea. Could put the turrets back in then too.

In the Special Edition boxes was a book talking about all the in game artwork. In that book were some pretty cool descriptions of modular player constructed faction bases. Most of the artwork can be seen at large installations like the Abandoned Rebel Base on Dantooine or the Imperial Outpost on Lok. Three kinds of walls, different types of guard towers, as well as different utilitarian functioning buildings even including a Storage Building!?! Not sure what went wrong with this in testing, but you would think with the way people use medium houses and city decorations to "steer" traffic around bases that something of a more purposeful function could be developed.
