I was looking though a few days of post and didnt see anything on city growth so here is my question.Does a mayor have to be online or do something to make the city update. The reason I ask is that this morning.. about an hour ago our city was due to update and when i check on the City advancement tab.. btw im in the militia of the city... it says "Next City Update: error." Was wondering what is needed to fix this problem.

It should fix itself within 24 hours, but sometimes it gets stuck. The "Error" message means that it is still cycling, and can vary due to server load and activity. Drop a ticket if its still in error mode the same time tomorrow.

I'm living in a size 3 city. We have neough citizens to get to size 4 and as many other are denied due to the cap issue.

my question . . .

if a size 4 should fall . . . and there are othersize 3 cities waiting to upgrade . . . which one gets the size 4 status? Is it random?

it goes to whichever qualified city updates next (some funny things can go on here due to server lag), and if two updates at the same time the one with more citizens win.
