Thread: City Militia bug! Needs fixing.

I am a member of the city militia, but I can't set up houses in my own city. I can /grantzoningrights to other people, but I don't actually have zoning rights working for ME - I have to find another city militia member to grant ME zoning rights first to put up houses!
This is illogical and needs fixing.
I should of course have permanent zoning rights and not be dependent on other militia members to grant me zoning...!
Actually I don't believe this is a bug. This has been the way it has been for as long as i've been a Mayor. Militia Members should not even have the option to grant zoning rights imho. Militia are suppose to act as the City Police and not glorified city zoners. But that of course is just my $0.02 worth... take it for what it's worth.

Nope, there should be seperate areas of city advisors to help the mayor. I've been a Mayor for well over a year... I love the fact that ppl can't see that City Militia = City Police *not* city zoners.
And to the original poster... sad thing is, you'll get the same answer from about every other long time mayor out there. Don't like the answer from me oh well... look elsewhere. You came to a *Public* forum claiming something was broke that isn't broke.

I still think it is wrong and illogical that city militia can grant zoning but not have zoning- and I was mayor for well over half a year before I stepped down so I do know what I'm talking about TOO.

rofl... quite funny since you seem to know me so well but yet i don't have the slightest idea of who you are. Oh well, no worries about who you are or how I have apparently offended you in some way. /shrug

yeh but if the member of militia needs zoning they will just get another member to give them it so either way you cant stop them placing stuff it just an anoyance.
Yeah um. W-t-f are we policing anyway? Why is there a militia? Only thing they do is grant zoning rights so why not change the name from militia to City Zoners.

Make sure neither of you are in a building when trying to grant... sometimes it does bug up when you try to grant rights that way.
