ok we have tents as malls, we have small and large house's as malls, and now guild halls as malls, how about a structure especially designed to be a mall for player cities??
how about making those salon tents as a player craftable item? or something along those lines that has booths, or platforms to segregrate vendors. They can like be rented out to each merchant by the owner, kinda like a flee market set up?
I would like some feed back here, what do you think is possible?

i like the flea market idea. bunch of booths with just cloth shades over them. like an old world look to them.

ok I'm not so sure about the flrea market thing as to be honest, I'm more than content with the guild hall Malls and merchant tents. You however did bring up an interesting thought . . . Player City Image Design tents. To be honest, I never fully understood the nature of these (as I've never been an image designer) but it would allow for player interaction and a place for image designers to go.

there's no longer a need for Image Design tents.
they used to grant more XP, and allow you to do Stat Migrations on other players.
but both of those features have been removed and a player can image design whereever they want now.
as for the idea of more merchant specific buildings? i'm all for it!
there could be different styles depending on planets like we have for houses now.
the Tatooine mall could be like a fleamarket with a few solid structural elements and many tents and tarps. a real rugged thrown together look would be nice for Tatooine.
Corellian malls should be sleek and modern and linear with booths and wide aisles.
Naboo malls should be classic with lots of nice stonework and an interesting floor plan (maybe circular).
there should also be varying sizes of each Mall building. small medium and large so people can set up their mall just how they like without having to worry about having a ton of empty vendor booths or counters.

I'd love an open air Tat flea market. I've tried to create one with tents but didn't come to fruition like I had planned. If they do decide to come out with new buildings, they better devise a plan to get rid of all the EMPTY CONDEMNED buildings now. I can honestly say I have no room in our city to place anything larger than a small house anywhere near our commercial area because of the maintenance change.
The poster above with the three different planetary types hits the nail on the head.
