Well I hope buffs are still needed after the revamp and from what I have read they will be useful but maybe implemented differently. If not time for a new prof to support my clothing habit.
I would love to move back to the med centers to buff.
5 stars for everyone.

But...if docs are using the med ctrs to actually DOCTOR people...where would the tumblers go? lol
On Lowca, they stay in the squares outside Spamonet and Greed starports. This is fine with me. Those are just transfer cities anyway for my non-JTL accounts. Or my doc might spend an hour in the square if he's REALLY low on funds.
When people need buffs from Xixor, they're directed to my House of Healing in our player city on Talus. For 3K health/action buffs (for 12K cr, 15K for all 8 buffs), they'll come. :-)

Fixed the clickify.
If you want it fixed, make sure to add the link I posted above to your sig! We could have another grassroots organization like Gizmo's. And while his wanting to fix the FRS is noble, these ideas will affect a LOT more people.

I think this would be wicked if actually implemented. Lol, the 2nd and 3rd floors (hell, even the other side of the first floor) of the CNet hospitalcould use a bit more population instead of being barren.

I think there should be a cantina droid so dancers and hang out with the massive crowds around the doctor and buff the people in line.
Okay, BTW, you can get a med center in player cities to have a higher rating than a droid. Otherwise, I totally agree with everyone. Buffing should happen in a med center or not be as good.
Otherwise, and even better idea. Don't make buffs effectively mandatory! They should buff not dwarf the current stats...

Dear god no! Not droids so dancers could do that. That takes away even further from the community, now you just have another bot. You might as well just have a blue frog outside the Cnet starport Poof Buffs granted, poof mindbuffs granted. So antisocial.

I really think the maximum effectiveness of a medical droid should be reduced to about 80. What makes the droid so useful is the ability to heal anywhere (especially now you dont need a camp to call it) An NPC med center should have a med rating of +100 and a player city med center should get +110. This was player cities get something nice, we get the docs going into the NPC med centers. I doubt DEs would get the shaft because all good docs would still want to use a droid simply for the convienience. I think the droid would still have a better rating than all scout camps and probably the first ranger one, so it would still be very handy.

I have a Doc character and I agree with the original poster's suggestion. It would help to reduce congestion at the starport and I think every player would be willing to run over to the medical center for an increased buff. Having the increase the same as a city set to medical specialty would do it.

As a DE, I've still always been a bit ticked that just having the droid gives you the full benefit of it. We'd still get droid business if it required a Hospital or Scout/Ranger camp to get the benefit of the Medical Modules, and that would free up some of the clutter outside Coronet...
