Thread: Problem with people dropping structures in city limits without /grant permission?
If anyone knows how to reproduce this, could you please send me a PM with the information? PLEASE DON'T POST THE STEPS HERE!
I've only recently heard about it, but I've yet to see it in action. That doesn't mean it hasn't been floating around for awhile, simply that more people are finding out about it.

If I spent the time working on exploits surely I would have done so to get our now destroyed city back heh. I will play around with it tonight see if someone knows how they dropped a house without having rights much less got 40 votes in 10minutes when the no additional homes were placed.. ..
getting the votes is easy i think
once the house is placed.....declair res, vote, then transfer the structure to the next person...i THINK the vote will still count in the race then.
its the placing of the house im not 100% sure about, ill test it in game tommorow.......ill pm my thoughts to the coro ina mo

Thanks! Let me know if you find out about the placing. I know how the voting thing is done now.

I didn't htink you had to have permission anymore to drop something. I didn't want my alt to be guilded with my guild and i just came in and plopped down a house...
Anyone can join any city now I do believe...
As far as I know, this is not true. And if the devs pull this kind of crap, I'll be really upset.
I don't allow just anyone into my City and Guild, for more reason than I could post, basicly, I run an very respectable, and Honourable Guild and City, and I'm not going to have someone come in and Join my city without my Permission....It keeps the city "safe" and Trouble-Free.
I have not had much experience as a mayor, however, during my brief tenure I seem to recall seeing an option to remove a citizen from the city. I could be wrong, but it is an option worth exploring. If this option does indeedexist, you could simply keep removing their citizen status, and keep control of your city and starport.
