Well put. I agree that the city maint needs to be turned off until taxes are collected again....and what a nice opportunity to fix sales tax as well.

Tiggs posted on this issue this afternoon.

Khristen,

Have you heard anything from the Sony Teams on what they are going to do about this? Or is it just another statement from them that they are "looking at this" and we wont see a solution to this problem for some weeks because it isnt a revenue generating project for the company?

What they heck are they doing about this?

Thanks for working on this.

Cheers!

The defence department briefs say that it will take longer to repair the damage from the hurricane then it will to fix the WTC.

It's been 4 years, and New York is still being rebuilt.

4 years is a long time for politicians to front the cost of a city.

Turn the maintenance back on.

First they came for the Jedi and I did not speak out because I was not a Jedi.
Then they came for the Bounty Hunters and I did not speak out because I was not a Bounty Hunter.
Then they came for the crafters and I did not speak out because I was not a crafter.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Ill be darned. They actually moved on this issue. Now if only we could get all the steetlamps, fountains and terminals/trainers back after they went POOF last week as well as some of the millions the mayors spent to support their cities while this problem was occuring. But we cant ask for too much lest they think we were greedy.

On September 9th, 2005 all structure maintenance was turned off indefinitely due to Hurricane Katrina. We are now disabling thecity maintenance fees to ease the burdon.

When we are ready to resume these maintenancesa post will be made at least a week in advance to prepare everyone.

Thank you Dev team for listening to us.

Mozrin Caer, Mayor of SOAL Ridge, Dantooine on Sunrunner. Level 3 ... 250k/week out of pocket now that my only source of paying the taxes is squelched. /sigh

I would also like to suggest ... fix the Sales Taxes and permit me, as a Mayor to apply taxes and other city feature differently for Citizens versus Squatters.

My Vendors are on Dantooine @ /way -1117 2592

(Credit Cap Indicent) .. Close to a billion credits? Be warned .. once you get there, YOUR responsibility to know of the undocumented limit & move money so as to have room for more credits. If not, you will not get paid for the things you sell. Lost almost 30 million credits. One more bug for the road eh?! Kudos to the best CSR ever .. DavidS and a big to the marplot ChrisG whos customer service is a contributing factor to the decline of the game.

Totally agree with the maintance thing, as posted before they gonna turn off the city cost too.

My City on Farstar costs exactly the same 875k which is quite a lot per week, considering you what you get in with taxes and stuff. In my opinion generally City costs should stay of to make it possible to build a city as intended and not have to say: Ohoh gardens cost too much money...

I like to have a lots of gardens since they are the only deco obejct that really catchs an eye...

Thx for the community of Farstar and all the people that we lost over the NGE,
that they made this game so much fun while it lastet.

You all will be missed.

Care to write one for us to get them to re-do, re-think, or put back the Naboo medium house footprint?
