Thereare just too many possible griefing issues with this idea. While it has good intentions not every mayor is trustworthy to use such fuctions for helpful purposes. Plus... what gives mayors the right in the first place to eliminate a structure that may be full of someone's belongings and a few thousand credits in maintenance? We honestly shouldn't have the power to mess with buildings that don't belong to us.

the fact a house is condemned would probably suggest the player is not active.
you think you mayor is not trustworthy, then move towns would be answer or vote a new one in you can trust

I think that getting Customer Service to help with the removal of condemned structures that belong to inactive accounts is reasonable. Brushing off mayors with cookie cutter responses like, "It will be removed during the purge" or "It will remove itself automatically in six months" is UNREASONABLE. Especially when none of the answers are concrete. No one knows when a purge will happen or if it takes six months for a structure to disappear.
I want customer service, not robotic responses and tickets being closed without an opportunity for a response.
Customer service just tells us to wait for the purge, or wait six months. Heck, I've been waiting 3 weeks for the guild terminal bug to be fixed.
My point is... absolute power to remove structures isn't necessary. Some customer service from people who can make decisions is VERY necessary.
