They worked on the Combat Upgrade for a year and a half after it was on the list to come out after player cities. Do you think were going to have to wait another year and a half for them to finish the server perge?I say screw saving the stuff of those who are gone they know if they dont come back after 6 months there stuff will be gone so it will fall on there shoulders not the Dev's to put there stuff in a safety deposit box.

Well, the point of my post was to tell you that these ideas are not new. The devs are working on a system which will move the houses and items of canceled accounts to their banks.

And the devs have picked the route they are going to go. Yes, I would like to see it sooner, and yes I think it should be the player's responsibility to take care of their items or lose them, but whining about it won't help. Just let it go, it's coming.

People do come back though. I was out of the game for about a year (not paying for the account).. But I picked up all my harvesters and put a year's worth of rent on my house and merchant tent. I hadn't planned on coming back, but I didn't want my business partner to suddenly have to pay rent on the housing.

Now I'm back in and glad I'd done that as it would have been tough to start over having to collect resources and such. A few issues on the start up (stuff in containers now counting against house item limits overloaded all my structures. LOL), but it's been fun.

That said, harvesters and (maybe) factories should go poof. Houses probably not.

if ppl have enough credits to go on leave for a month or a year then they should be allowed to, but all those condemned houses shoudl be torn down. Inactive accounts shouldent have their houses deleted.

Ppl will be more motivated to get back to the game if they know they have stuff waiting for them, and lets face it we want our old buddies to return.

Well, to be honest, I think that if you've left for that long, there's no reason your stuff should still be there. Ideally, canceled accounts would have all of their items and houses deleted after about three months (which is how long their guarantee lasts).

But I like the idea of people's houses being rolled up into their banks after the account has been canceled for a certain amount of time.
